PURPOSE: An array substrate for an LCD device is provided to form a supplementary data line with the same material as gate lines, and to form a conductive pattern with the same material as a pixel electrode, then to connect the supplementary data line with data lines in the conductive pattern, thereby applying a signal even though the data lines are disconnected. CONSTITUTION: Gate lines(122) are formed on a substrate in the first direction. A gate electrode(124) is connected to the gate lines(122). A supplementary data line(125) is formed between the gate lines(122), and has the second direction. A gate insulating film covers the gate lines(122), the gate electrode(124), and the supplementary data line(125). An active layer(128) is formed on the gate insulating film. Data lines(132) cross the gate lines(122). A source electrode(134) and a drain electrode(136) are faced to each other on the gate electrode(124). A protective film has the first contact hole(142) and the second/third contact holes(144,146). A pixel electrode(152) is connected with the drain electrode(136) through the first contact hole(142). A conductive pattern(154) is connected to the supplementary data line(125).
