The coil has primary and secondary coils, an outer coil body for the primary or secondary coil, a magnetic core and a short circuit plate (13) enclosing the coils and forming a hollow body with at least one opening, whereby the primary coil and the secondary coil are embedded with an insulating casting material. The short circuit plate forms a shape for casting the primary and secondary coils within it.
