PURPOSE: An array substrate for an LCD device is provided to simultaneously form a projection as soon as a TFT and an organic protective film for protecting data lines are formed, in order to simplify a process, thereby improving a productive yield. CONSTITUTION: Gate lines(125) are extended in one direction on a substrate(100). Data lines(145) vertically crossing the gate lines(125) define a pixel area(P). A TFT(T) is configured on a crossing point between the gate lines(125) and the data lines(145). The TFT(T) consists of a gate electrode(123), an active layer(136), a source electrode(141), and a drain electrode(143). A pixel electrode(147) contacted with the drain electrode(143) is configured in the pixel area(P). An organic film projection(150) is formed in an upper part of the pixel electrode(147) relative to a central area of the pixel area(P). The projection(150) is simultaneously formed as soon as the TFT(T) and an organic protective film(149) are formed.
