PURPOSE: An apparatus for matching an antenna of a mobile communication terminal is provided to satisfy an SAR(Specific Absorption Rate) by compensating an antenna characteristic difference between ANN IN and ANN OUT states by selecting the optimum matching value. CONSTITUTION: A detector(120) detects whether a state of an antenna(110) is antenna in(ANN IN) or antenna out(ANN OUT). An ANN IN matching portion(150) matches the antenna(110) with a transmitting and receiving unit(170) in the ANN IN state. An ANN OUT matching portion(160) matches the antenna(110) with the transmitting and receiving unit in the ANN OUT state. A first RF switch(130) connects the antenna(110) with the ANN IN matching portion(150) in the case that the detector(120) detects the ANN IN state, and connects the antenna(110) with the ANN OUT matching portion(160) in the case that the detector(120) detects the ANN OUT state. A second RF switch(140) connects the transmitting and receiving unit(170) with the ANN IN matching portion(150) in the case that the detector(120) detects the ANN IN state, and connects the transmitting and receiving unit(170) with the ANN OUT matching portion(160) in the case that the detector(120) detects the ANN OUT state.
