PURPOSE: A system for the lottery of a drawing number selection type and an operating method thereof are provided to maximize an AD(ADvertisement) effect by making an advertiser pay a prize money of a predetermined ratio and giving a high probability to an AD target as an input number control module increases a number of a winning number or a drawing number fit to the predetermined ratio. CONSTITUTION: The system includes an AD operation server(100) equipped with a telephone connection interface(000) allowing the access through the PSTN(Public Switched Telephone Network)(2) and a database server(200). The AD operation server comprises a wire/wireless web engine(110), an input number control module(120), a number input module(130), a list making module(140), and a winner managing module(150). The database server is managed by an RDBMS(Relational DataBase Management System), and includes an image database(210), an advertiser database(220), a serial number database(230), a drawing number database(240), an operation database(250), and a drawing turn database(260). The database server registers the winning number, confirms the drawing result, and performs an AD.
