PURPOSE: A back light assembly of an LCD(liquid crystal display) is provided to improve a haze condition of a diffusion sheet arranged on a light guide of the LCD. CONSTITUTION: A back light assembly of an LCD includes a lamp(313), a light guide(315), the first and second diffusion sheets(333c,333a), a prism sheet(333b), and a reflecting plate(317). The light guide reflects light emitted from the lamp to generate plane light. The first diffusion sheet is arranged on the light guide and diffuses the plane light. The prism sheet is located on the first diffusion sheet and condenses the diffused light. The second diffusion sheet is arranged on the prism sheet and has a haze value smaller than a haze value of the first diffusion sheet and larger than a haze value of a protective sheet. The reflecting sheet is located under the light guide and reflects leakage light.
