REAR ILLUMINATION DEVICE FOR LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE

PURPOSE: A rear illumination device for a liquid crystal display device is provided to insert a light scattering and permeable material instead of a light guide plate, thereby improving a structure of a liquid crystal display and preventing loss of the brightness caused by the light guide plate. CONSTITUTION: A light source(5) emits light. A reflector(3) condenses the light in a certain direction to transmit the light emitted from the light source to a display(13). A light guide object(20) scatters and reflects the light condensed by the reflector. A reflecting plate(7) is formed under the light guide object for reflecting the scattered or reflected light to a display area.
