REFLECTIVE LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE

摘要

PURPOSE: A reflective LCD device is provided to separate RGB colors from 3-wavelength light sources, and to irradiate the separated RGB colors according to a color filter array, thereby minimizing brightness consumed by a color filter and improving reflective brightness and color purity. CONSTITUTION: A fluorescent lamp(20) is used as a light source. A dispersion medium(22) separates lights emitted from the fluorescent lamp(20). Slits(28) divide separated RGB colors in strip-type array. Plural sliders(30) minimize light dispersion, and irradiate the lights on an LCD panel(36). Mirrors(24,26,32) are installed in side portions of the sliders(30), and guide the lights passing through the sliders(30) toward a light guide plastic(34) opposite to the LCD panel(36) along a peripheral outer side.
