PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a required information collection system for collecting such character string information as a required brand name from a cellular phone or the like comprising only numeric operation buttons with a simple operation. SOLUTION: When a user transmits a tone signal for indicating a specific kana column by pressing the operation button of the cellular phone or the like, a brand name is searched for by receiving the specification of the column of the first character of a desired brand name, and further the brand name concerned is searched for out of the search result of the first character by receiving the specification of the column of the second character as needed, thus narrowing the required brand name gradually. The narrowed brand name can be listened to by the cellular phone or the like. |
