PURPOSE: A sheet for industrial materials is provided to improve strength, durability, elasticity and flame retardancy and to prevent environmental pollution by using waste polystyrene fiber. CONSTITUTION: The sheet is prepared by mixing a synthetic rubber or natural rubber liquefied in toluene with waste polyester fiber, stirring the mixture, drying the stirred one, making a sheet-shaped one with the dried one by using a roller, and press compressing or molding the sheet-shaped one. Also the sheet is prepared by mixing a synthetic rubber or a natural rubber with waste polyester fiber, stirring the mixture, drying the stirred one, making a sheet-shaped one with the dried one by using a roller, and press compressing or molding the sheet-shaped one. Preferably the synthetic rubber is chloroprene or neoprene. Also the sheet is prepared by mixing cork with waste polyester fiber, stirring the mixture, drying the stirred one, making a sheet-shaped one with the dried one by using a roller, and press compressing or molding the sheet-shaped one.
