LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY PANEL WITH LINE-ON-GLASS TYPE

PURPOSE: An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) with a line-on-glass type is provided to form a gate signal transmission line, instead of a cable and a cable connector, on a substrate, thereby reducing the cost of production. CONSTITUTION: TCPs(Tape Carrier Package)(410,250) mounted on a plurality of data and gate drive ICs(Integrated Circuit) are arranged. A gate signal transmission circuit(400) is installed at the outside of the arranged TCPs. A data signal generated from a drive circuit mounted to a source PCB(Printed Circuit Board)(230) is inputted to a data driver IC of the source TCP(410). A gate signal generated from a driving circuit is inputted to a gate signal transmission circuit(400). Rips(420) are installed between the source TCPs(410). The rip(420) limits movement of the LCD panel and protects the LCD panel from an external vibration or impact.
