PURPOSE: A necklace-type earphone of a portable terminal is provided to seek a user's safety by installing a hooker to disjoint the connection state of a necklace string when appointed load is applied to the necklace string. CONSTITUTION: A necklace-type earphone of a portable terminal is composed of a necklace string(10), a connection member(20), an earphone(12), and a microphone part(13). The necklace string(10) is formed annularly so that a user can wear it on his neck. The connection member(20), composed with an ear jack(22) and a fixing tool(24) in a single unit, is formed at an appointed portion of the necklace string(10). The earphone(12), extended from a fixing member(11) installed with the installation part of the connection member(20) at a regular interval, is connected with the ear jack(22). The microphone part(13), formed with a receiving slot(15) to accept the earphone(12) and a microphone(14) to transmit voice signals in a single unit, is formed on the connection line of the ear jack(22) and the earphone(12).
