PURPOSE: A housing is provided to be favorably housed in an electronic unit by having two housing parts that can be pivotally rotated to each other to select different function sets. CONSTITUTION: First and second housing parts(11,12) are connected and pivotally rotated to each other. Function modules(13) are disposed between the first and second housing parts(11,12). The function modules(13) are moved between a retracted position included in and between the first and second housing parts(11,12) and an extended position extended between the first and second housing parts(11,12). Each function module(13) in association with a function set of an electronic unit supports hardware related to the function set of the electronic unit. The first housing part(11) supports a display(14) to display information for a user of the electronic unit and to receive information from the user of the electronic unit. The first housing part(11) supports a microphone(15) and a speaker(16) to allow the user to generate and receive a call.
