PURPOSE: An actuator of an optical disk system is provided to supply a signal supplied to two terminals by using a common connector commonly connected with one terminal of an inner focusing coil and one terminal of an outer focusing coil, thereby realizing an 8-line actuator architecture. CONSTITUTION: A focusing coil signal generator(410) comprises as follows. The first signal generator(412) generates an inner coil signal(s11) to be supplied to the first terminal of an inner focusing coil(610). The second signal generator(414) generates an outer coil signal(s12) to be supplied to the first terminal of an outer focusing coil(620). The third signal generator(416) generates a common reference signal(s13) to be commonly supplied to the second terminal of an outer focusing coil(620) and the second terminal of the inner focusing coil(610).
