PURPOSE: An apparatus for processing and providing a traffic information is provided to supply the large amount of traffic information with rapidly and accurately processing the large amount of traffic information collected from various traffic sources. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for processing and providing a traffic information includes a traffic sense data collection unit(100), a data generation unit(200), a data synthesize unit(300) and a pattern data storage unit(500). The traffic sense data collection unit(100) collects the original data corresponding to the traffic data from various traffic sources in real time and outputs the original data with removing the error from the collected original data. The data generation unit(200) calculates the representative values for representing the corresponding time of the corresponding period by grouping the representative values calculated at the traffic sense data collection unit(100). The data synthesize unit(300) synthesizes various traffic data sensed from various traffic sources and supplies the final traffic information to the user. The pattern data storage unit(500) manages the data by classifying and storing the corresponding data in response to the specific pattern after the final traffic information generated at the data synthesize unit(300) is supplied to the road users by a predetermined time interval. And, the pattern data storage unit(500) supplies the data capable of deriving the parameter to apply to all models of the traffic sense data collection unit(100), the data generation unit(200) and the data synthesize unit(300).
