PURPOSE: A core device is provided to prevent an inductance difference between upper and lower horizontal deflection coils of a deflection yoke by arranging a single drum core. CONSTITUTION: A core device(10) for a PCS(precise convergence system) comprises a single drum core(11). A vertical correction coil unit is constituted by winding a vertical coil wire(14) on the drum core. A horizontal correction coil unit is constituted by winding horizontal coil wires(12,13) on the drum core. Magnets(15,16) are arranged at both sides of the drum core. The vertical correction coil unit is arranged at the center of the drum core, and the horizontal correction coil unit is arranged at both sides of the vertical correction coil unit.
