PURPOSE: A system and method for making backup and recovering a phone book of a mobile terminal are provided to allow a user to use a phone book of a replaced or a lost terminal as it is for a new mobile terminal. CONSTITUTION: A user presses a button of a mobile terminal for ARS connection(S100). The user is subjected to an authentication procedure(S110). The user selects backup or recovery(S120). If the user selects backup, an ARS server detects a backup mode(S130) and a voice message is received from a database server and transferred to the user. The user inputs a manipulation key according to a procedure of the received voice message(S140). Phone book data of the mobile terminal is transmitted(S150). After a termination announcement, data is back-up(S160). |
