PURPOSE: A plasma display panel is provided to achieve improved discharge efficiency by increasing discharge in the edge of a discharge cell, and improved luminance by increasing a light emitting area. CONSTITUTION: A plasma display panel comprises a pair of sustain electrodes(64,66) arranged in parallel with each other on an upper substrate; and barrier ribs formed on a lower substrate so as to separate adjacent discharge cells from each other. The sustain electrodes have transparent electrodes(64A,66A), respectively, which are formed into a symmetrical or asymmetrical structure in a diagonal direction; and metal electrodes(64B,66B) formed on the transparent electrodes, respectively. |
