PURPOSE: A condensate discharge device of a muffler is provided to discharge condensate efficiently corresponding to flow of exhaust gas, and to prevent corrosion of the muffler by actively discharging condensate out of the muffler at low or high RPM(Revolution Per Minute) range with concentrating condensate on the lower part of an orifice pipe. CONSTITUTION: A condensate discharge device of a muffler comprises a couple of variable inclined plates(30) installed at both sides of a housing(21) around an orifice pipe(23) in V-shape to vary the volume of the portion for collecting condensate; vertical and horizontal rails(24,25) formed in the middle of the housing to slide upper and lower ends of the variable inclined plates; a rod(40) moving the variable inclined plates downward according to pressure of exhaust gas; and a return spring(50) contained in the vertical rail to elastically support the upper end of the variable inclined plate. |
