PURPOSE: A lightning arrester device is provided to stably discharge the electric charge of a thundercloud even when the thundercloud exists in a remote place. CONSTITUTION: A lightning arrester device(10) comprises a fixing member(20) where an arrester conductor connected to a ground electrode is coupled; a fixing bar(30) arranged upright on the fixing member and made of a conductor; a main electrode unit(40) coupled to the top of the fixing bar and made of a conductor; a polymer insulator(50) arranged beneath the main electrode unit and secured to the fixing bar, wherein the polymer insulator has upper and lower extension pieces(50b,50c) spaced apart from each other along the fixing bar, and a long rod portion(50a) extended downward along the fixing bar from the upper and lower extension pieces; and an auxiliary electrode unit(60) fitted to the outside of the long rod portion of the polymer insulator, in such a manner that the auxiliary electrode unit does not contact the main electrode unit and the fixing bar. The auxiliary electrode unit is made of a conductor.
