PURPOSE: A suction unit of an electric cleaner and an electric cleaner having the suction unit are provided to completely remove fat and oil stains on the floor by setting up a proper shape of each brush. CONSTITUTION: A suction unit of an electric cleaner comprises a brush unit(12) having plural brush hairs(22a,32a) fixed on base cloths(22b,32b), a support unit(41) for supporting the brush unit, and a rotor(13) for rotating the brush unit. The support unit is formed along the line connecting points on each circumference of two sections aside the peripheral of the rotor. The brush unit has a loop brush(32) made by forming each brush hair in the shape of a loop.
