PURPOSE: An apparatus for preventing keypads from being pushed in a portable terminal is provided to previously prevent keypads from being pushed unwittingly. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for preventing keypads from being pushed in a portable terminal consists of a terminal main body(10), a terminal cover(20), and a cover locking part(30). The terminal main body(10) has various input keypads(11) on its front side. The terminal cover(20), in which a plurality of keypad holes(21) are formed so that the keypads(11) can go in and out, is installed on the front side of the terminal main body(10) so as to be moved back and forth. The cover locking part(30), interposed between the right and left sides of the terminal main body(10) and the right and left sides of the terminal cover(20), makes the terminal cover(20) maintain the locking position and locking release position of the keypads(11).
