PURPOSE: Devices for fixing a valve of an air compressor are provided to reduce a gap of suction and exhaust valves caused by vibration via tension of a spring and to quickly control the gap although the compressor is in an operating state if the gap is produced. CONSTITUTION: In an air compressor, valve cages are inserted in the upper ends of suction and exhaust valves of a valve plate(10), and fixing bolts are fastened to a head cover(20) disposed to the upper side of the valve plate, to press the top of the valve cages. A head portion of the fixing bolt fastened to the suction valve side is exposed to the upper side of the head cover, and a T-connector connected to a suction hose is fastened to the head portion of the fixing bolt and is connected with suction holes of the first valve cage, and a spring for absorbing vibration is elastically installed to the periphery of the fixing bolt. The ends of the spring are situated between the head cover and the first valve cage. The fixing bolt fastened to the exhaust valve side is formed in a hollow shape and a head portion of the fixing bolt is exposed to the upper side of the head cover, and a piston(180) is installed between the fixing bolt and the second valve cage, and a spring(150) for absorbing vibration is elastically installed to the periphery of the fixing bolt. The ends of the spring are situated between the head cover and the piston and an inspection cap(170) in which plural plastic balls(160) are installed is installed to the upper end of the fixing bolt.
