PURPOSE: Installation structure of a cooling fan for a microwave oven used as a hood is provided to replace and repair the fan assembly conveniently by eliminating the control panel only without removing the outer case. CONSTITUTION: An installation system of a fan assembly of a microwave oven comprises a duct body(112) installed over a cavity(100) and an electric component chamber(104) to guide air flow for cooling the electric components and for functioning as a hood; a fan guide part(114) formed in the duct body at the electric component chamber and composed of a fan(122) of a fan assembly(120) to generate cooling air flow by communicating the duct body with the electric component chamber; and an assembling boss(118) having an assembling hole combined with an assembling screw(124) through the fan guide part in the electric component chamber to install the fan assembly.
