PURPOSE: A nutrient for lawn is provided to improve growth and reproduction of lawn, thereby raising the power of spontaneous growth in lawn in an environmentally friendly way. By using the lawn nutrient, lawn can be strong against damages by blight or harmful insects and grown with wide leaf, low height and flourishing stalks. CONSTITUTION: The nutrient for lawn is prepared by: mixing 20wt% of lime, 4wt% of loess, 12wt% of an extract from a plant of which root grows sideward such as reed or bamboo, 3wt% of nitrogen, 3wt% of P2O5, 1wt% of potassium, 3 wt% of magnesium and 3wt% of sodium with 50wt% of a brine having 3-50% of salinity; heating the mixture at 120-150 deg.C until it becomes a form of slurry; aging the mixture by fermenting at 15-18 deg.C in a container for 15 days; drying the aged mixture at room temperature-60 deg.C for 3-7 days; and grinding the dried mixture to give a powdered lawn nutrient.
