<p>A preferably dosed amount of binder or adhesive is applied mechanically to the rear sides of the tiles using a machine comprising a tile magazine and an applicator beneath which the tiles from the magazine are passed in an automated method. The tiles with the binder or adhesive on them are placed on a surface which is free from any previously applied binder, adhesive or underlay. An independent claim is also included for the tiling apparatus, in which the tiles are passed through the applicator using a mechanical, hydraulic and/or pneumatic system.</p> |
