PURPOSE: A common IWF(Inter Working Function) interface device is provided to interface a common IWF(Inter Working Function) by being connected to a vocoder block through a 8Mbps ST-BUS and operating as a load share with 60-channel capacity. CONSTITUTION: A CUBIT Pro(310) performs cell-BUS communication with a backboard. A CPU module(320) accommodates SAR and various protocol stacks. A DPRAM and MUNICH(Multi channel Network Interface Controller for HDLC)(330,340) use two MUNICH32s and implement 32-channel HDLC controller, respectively. A digital switch(350) switches so as for one IIUA(IWF Interface Unit Assembly) to be connected to eight EVXA1s of a self side and eight EVXA1s of the other side by an ST-BUS. A framer(360) interfaces a common IWF with four E1s, connects the digital switch(350) to an EVXA1 through 8Mbps ST-BUS and to the MUNICH(340) through a 2Mbps ST-BUS by controlling a speed of input and output ports of the digital switch(350). |
