PURPOSE: Provided is a device for opening and closing a duct flow path of a garbage treating machine which is able to discharge the air in a case when opening a front side opening part. CONSTITUTION: The device comprises an inhaling and discharging controlling plate respectively partitioning an air flow path of a duct main body (5) into the upper and lower sides and able to be assembled, one end as a center, a driving means (20) having a rotating shaft joined to one end of the inhaling and discharging controlling plate and supporting the inhaling and discharging controlling plate to be able to be assembled, one end of the inhaling and discharging controlling plate as a center and a power switch (10) installed on one side of the front-side opening part of the case and controlling the driving means when opening and closing the front-side opening part of the case.
