PURPOSE: A circuit for correcting misconvergence of a deflection yoke is provided to control current flowing into a vertical deflection coil using two transistors to control YV misconvergence. CONSTITUTION: A circuit for correcting misconvergence of a deflection yoke includes the first variable resistor, the second variable resistor(VR2), the first and second transistors(T1,T2). The first variable resistor is connected to a serial connection point of left and right vertical deflection coils. The second variable resistor(VR2) controls intensity of current flowing through the vertical deflection coil and corrects YV misconvergence, The collector of the first transistor is connected to a resistor(R4) connected to the left vertical deflection coil and the connection point of the first variable resistor and the emitter and base of the first transistor are respectively connected to both ends of the second variable resistor to control the direction of current flowing through resistors located between the left and right vertical deflection coils and the second variable resistor. The second transistor is turned on/off in response to a bias voltage of the second variable resistor to control current flowing through the resistors located between the left and right vertical deflection coils and the second variable resistor.
