PURPOSE: A transmission unit of a base-band processor for reducing transmission delay is provided to use efficiently a corresponding channel by preventing additional transmission delay in a station occupying the channel. CONSTITUTION: A transmission controller(21) is used for receiving data from an external MAC processor and generating a control signal. A transmission signal processor(22) is used for scrambling, encoding, interleaving, and mapping data according to a control operation of the transmission controller. An inverse Fourier transformer(24) is used for performing an inverse Fourier transform process for the data and the control signal. A preamble transmitter(23) is used for transmitting the inverse Fourier transformed preamble. A multiplexer(25) is used for multiplexing output signals of the inverse Fourier transformer and the preamble transmitter. An interpolator(26) is used for interpolating an output of the multiplexer.
