LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE AND METHOD FOR DRIVING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device and a method for driving the same are provided to supply the gamma voltage so as to compensate the process deviation and to display the image with a uniform luminescence in a plurality of divided regions. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display device includes a liquid crystal panel(32) and a data driver(34). The liquid crystal panel(32) is provided with a plurality of liquid crystal cells(37) is disposed at the cross-sectional portions of the data lines(DL1-DLm) and the gate lines(GL1-GLn) in the form of matrix. The data driver(34) drives the data lines(DL1-DLm). In the liquid crystal display device, the liquid panel is illuminated with being divided into at least two regions. And, the pixel signal having a different voltage level is supplied to each of the divided regions corresponding to the same data so as to display the image with a uniform luminescence at the divided regions.
