PURPOSE: A portable terminal for outputting a stereo signal is provided to mount plural stereo speakers and woofers, so as to output channel stereo sounds, thereby easily realizing a stereo sound effect with high fidelity. CONSTITUTION: A voice signal processor(120) decodes received voice data, and outputs the decoded voice data. An audio data processor converts prestored digital audio data into analog data, amplifies the analog data, and outputs the amplified analog data. A controller(180) selects one of the audio data processor and the voice signal processor(120) based on a user command, and operates the selected unit. The audio data processor comprises as follows. An audio memory(140) stores a 2.1-channel stereo signal as a digital signal. A data converter(150) converts the 2.1-channel stereo signal into analog data, separates the analog data into a 2-channel stereo signal and a woofer signal, and outputs the stereo signal and the woofer signal. An audio amplifier(160) amplifies the stereo signal and the woofer signal transmitted from the data converter.
