PURPOSE: An SIR(Signal-to-Interference) estimator is provided to obtain an accurate SIR by obtaining an interference signal by using a CPICH(Common Pilot Channel). CONSTITUTION: A DPCH(Dedicated Physical Channel) SIR calculator(500) calculates an SIR of a DPCH. A CPICH SIR calculator(600) calculates an SIR of a CPICH. A signal-to-power ratio calculator(670) calculates a ratio between signal power of the CPICH which has been calculated by the CPICH SIR calculator(600) and signal power of DPCH which has been calculated by the DPCH SIR calculator(500). A switch(680) is connected to the DPCH SIR calculator(500), the CPICH SIR calculator(600) and the signal-to-power ratio calculator(670). The switch(680) selects an SIR estimate calculating method according to STTD(Space Time Transmit Diversity) and the number of symbols of a pilot field. |
