PURPOSE: Provided are Schizandra chinensis Baillon extract having maximized content of schizandrin that is an active ingredient of Schizandra chinensis Baillon, a method for extracting the same, and a soft capsule containing the same as an active ingredient. CONSTITUTION: Schizandra chinensis Baillon extract having maximized content of schizandrin is characteristically obtained by the steps of: powdering fruits and seeds of Schizandra chinensis Baillon; and extracting active ingredient, schizandrin therefrom with a mixture of water and ethanol.
