PURPOSE: A method for operating the electronic commerce using an electronic wallet is provided to protect the rights of users from an illegal sale act by simultaneously authenticating a seller and a transaction history through multiple authentication procedures. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of a user ordering an item to a seller(S1), the seller realizing an electronic wallet program of a personal computer of the user and requesting the user to pay for the item(S2), a service providing server accepting the payment via the electronic wallet relaying pavement between the electronic cash of the user and the server(S3), the server processing payment(S4), the server generating a first authenticator using the key value of the seller(S5), the server generating a second authenticator by coding a random number and the first authenticator(S6), the server transmitting the authenticators to the electronic wallet(S7), the electronic wallet transmitting the authenticators to the seller(S8), the seller recording a related transaction history(S11), the seller sending the item to the user(S12), the server authenticating the transaction history and the second authenticator(S14), and the server settling the accounts for the seller(S15).
