PURPOSE: A device and a method for managing an infra-soft database are provided to easily monitor/tune the correlation between database performance data monitored in a hierarchical structure of a system, a factor of the database performance deterioration understood in entire database structure, and the database performance database of a program level. CONSTITUTION: A host level monitoring part calculates/displays the database performance data of a host level in real-time to a screen. An instance level monitoring part provides the screen displaying the data representing the structure influencing to the instance level monitoring part by each part and arranges/displays the factors influencing to the database performance. A monitoring part provides the screen displaying the database level monitor data by each part, and facilitates a problem analysis for a resource state by editing/executing an SQL(Structured Query Language) of each database level. The database level provides the screen displaying the performance data for the selected database level, and editing/executing the SQL and a table graphically.
