PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device and a method for driving the same are provided to minimize the deterioration of the display quality under the condition of a bad external temperature environment. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display device includes a signal generator, a first source output enable(SOE) modulation circuit(138) and a second SOE modulation circuit(139). The signal generator generates the basic source output signal. The first SOE modulation circuit(138) generates the first modulation source output signal by modulating the resolution of the basic source output signal. And, the second SOE modulation circuit(139) generates the second modulation source output signal by modulating the first modulation source output signal in response to the stabilization data from the manufacturer.
