PURPOSE: An apparatus for aligning sink roll assembly is provided to improve quality of product and extend life cycle of facility by accurately aligning the sink roll assembly mounted on a plating pot, thereby preventing meandering and hunting of strip and preventing abrasion of roll shaft part. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a surface table(9) which is positioned on a lower horizontal foundation, to which one end of front and rear and left and right working structures(17) is fixed, and which is a metal table having a flat plane, wherein the sink roll assembly is installed on an upper part of the working structures with the sink roll assembly being positioned at a certain elevation above the upper surface of the working structures; a rectangular stopper(10) having height higher than that of the sink roll assembly installed at one side of long direction of the sink roll assembly on an upper surface of the surface table so that the rectangular stopper becomes a vertical base level; laser distance measuring instruments(11) a plurality of which are installed toward the sink roll assembly on the vertical base level of the stopper correspondingly to height position of shaft parts of sink roll(5) and stabilizing rolls(6) inside the sink roll assembly to measure distance and parallelism of the sink roll and the stabilizing rolls; a height gauge(14) installed in front of the sink roll and the stabilizing rolls on an upper surface of the surface table to measure height of the sink roll and the stabilizing rolls to correct height thereof; and cylinder units(12,13) respectively installed at both end sides of the sink roll and the stabilizing rolls of the other side of long direction of the sink roll assembly on an upper surface of the surface table to correct distance and parallelism from the vertical base level by pushing and pulling both end parts of the sink roll and the stabilizing rolls.
