PURPOSE: A thermoplastic high impact polystyrene resin composition is provided, to improve antibacterial property without deterioration of physical properties of a high impact polystyrene resin. CONSTITUTION: The thermoplastic high impact polystyrene resin composition comprises 100 parts by weight of a high impact polystyrene base resin which comprises 5-20 wt% of a diene-based rubber and 80-95 wt% of polystyrene and has a weight average molecular weight of 130,000-240,000; 0.2-0.8 parts by weight of an inorganic antibacterial agent; and 0.2-0.5 parts by weight of an organic antibacterial agent. Preferably the inorganic antibacterial agent is at least one selected from the group consisting of antibacterial zeolite and antibacterial apatite; and the organic antibacterial agent is at least one selected from the group consisting of thiazolyl benzimidazole, n-chlorophenyl biguanido hexane digluconate, polyhexamethylene guanidine phosphite and dihydro sodium acetate. |
