PURPOSE: A condensate collecting device of a condensation-type clothes dryer is provided to function a hole of a cap as a vent hole, a drain hole, and an overflow hole of a storage tank at the same time, to prevent the overflow of water by automatically closing a condensate discharge port in detaching the storage tank to throw out the condensate, and to collect the condensate by automatically opening the condensate discharge port in mounting the storage tank again after discharging the condensate. CONSTITUTION: A condensate collecting device of a condensation-type clothes dryer is composed of a storage tank guide(1); a storage tank(2) received in the storage tank guide to move back and forth into and out of the storage tank guide by a sliding method and formed with a condensate discharge port(200); a cap(3) arranged with a drain hole(300) corresponding to the condensate discharge port at one side and installed on the upside of the storage tank to open and close the condensate discharge port and bidirectionally rotate about a rotary shaft; an interfering member(4) mounted to the storage tank guide to rotate the cap at the predetermined angle by interfering with the cap in locking the cap when the storage tank is inserted into the storage tank guide and not to interfere with the cap in opening the cap; and a condensate discharge pipe(5) positioned on the condensate discharge port of the storage tank to open and close the condensate discharge port by interfering with the cap when the storage tank is inserted into and drawn out of the storage tank guide. |
