PURPOSE: A crosslinked organic-inorganic hybrid polymer based coating composition for concrete is provided to reinforce the binding between the old concrete and new mortar for repair, and improve the durability of the concrete structure by blocking deteriorating elements. CONSTITUTION: The crosslinked organic-inorganic hybrid polymer based coating composition is prepared by: mixing 5-7wt% of isopropyl alcohol(IPA), 2-5wt% of a hydropropyl cellulose solution(HPC) prepared by dissolving 1.5wt% of hydropropyl cellulose into IPA, 2-4wt% of methyltrimethoxy silane, 12-14wt% of a pigment and 4-7wt% of water of which pH value is adjusted to 1-2 with nitric acid, and dispersing the mixture to give a dispersion A; to the dispersion A, adding 27-30wt% of IPA, 10-12wt% of HPC, 1-3wt% of n-hexane and 1-3wt% of water and 12-15wt% of methyltrimethoxy silane in this order to give a solution B; to the solution B, adding an aqueous polyvinyl alcohol solution prepared by dissolving 5wt% of polyvinyl alcohol into water. |
