<p>PURPOSE: A shelf mounting structure of a refrigerator is provided to effectively utilize a storage space in the refrigerator by easily changing a gap between a shelf and a movable shelf at user's intension by driving a power transmitting device by a rotary knob installed to the front end of the movable shelf. CONSTITUTION: A shelf mounting structure of a refrigerator is composed of a shelf(60) on which stored articles are put, installed in the refrigerator; a movable shelf(70) on which the stored articles are put, mounted to the upper part of the shelf to move up and down; a supporting bar(72) of which the lower end is hinge-combined to the shelf and the upper end is hinge-combined to the movable shelf to support the movable shelf; and a power transmitting device for transmitting power to the supporting bar. The movable shelf moves up and down by interlocking with operations of the power transmitting device. The power transmitting device comprises a rotary knob(81) for generating rotary power; a plurality of rotary shafts(83,91) for transmitting rotary power generated by the rotary knob; and worms(85,89) and worm wheels(85',89') disposed to the ends of the rotary shafts to transmit the rotary power of the rotary shaft to the other crossing rotary shaft.</p> |
