PURPOSE: A method for servicing a text message of a mobile communication terminal is provided to divide one text message in plural according to preset length and text size in a receiver or a base station, and to output the plural text messages from a receiving terminal, so that a transmitter can receive the plural text messages for the one text message. CONSTITUTION: A transmitting user selects a text message menu of a mobile communication terminal(S200), and selects an item for deciding whether a text message is a general text message or an SMS(S210). If the text message is selected, the terminal inputs a receiving telephone number(S220), inputs contents to be transmitted, and transmits the text message(S230). A base station receives the text message, and decides a kind of the text message(S240). If the text message is the SMS, the base station divides the text message into plural text messages, and transmits the plural text messages(S260). A receiving user sequentially receives the divided text messages, and outputs the text messages according to preset text size(S270). |
