DOPPLER FREQUENCY ESTIMATING APPARATUS OF RAKE RECEIVER AND OPERATION METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A Doppler frequency estimating apparatus of a rake receiver and its operation method are provided to solve a problem related to a multi-path and timing synchronization state. CONSTITUTION: Doppler frequencies(fd(n)), energy(E(n)), synchronous state(L(n)) signals are received from multiple filter units(S10). The inputted signals are analyzed to determine whether synchronous states of every finger unit have not been locked(S20). If some synchronous state(L(n)) signals have been locked, a finger unit outputting the greatest energy(E(n)) signal is selected(S30). A Doppler frequency(fd(n)) and synchronous state(L(n)) signal of the selected finger unit are outputted to a movement averaging unit by units of estimation period(S40).
