PURPOSE: An apparatus for correcting a poor pixel of an image sensor is provided to record the position of the poor pixel using a fuse and correct the poor pixel using the position. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for correcting a poor pixel of an image sensor includes a fuse part(101) storing addresses of multiple poor pixels, the first register(102) for receiving and storing row addresses among the addresses stored in the fuse part, the second register(103) for receiving and storing column addresses among the stored addresses, and a row address comparator for comparing the output of the first register with the row address of a pixel. The apparatus further includes a column address comparator controlled by the output of the row address comparator to compare the output of the second register with the column address of the pixel, a shift register for sequentially receiving pixel data items, a mean value generator for generating a mean value of pixel data items adjacent to a desired pixel, and a multiplexer for controlled by the column address comparator to select one of the output of the mean value generator and data of the desired pixel. |
