PURPOSE: An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to construct a black matrix formed at a sealing portion of the LCD panel by a resin black matrix and a metal black matrix and print a seal pattern adhering the LCD panel on the metal black matrix, thereby enhancing an adhesion force of the LCD panel. CONSTITUTION: The first black matrix(142a) made of a black resin is formed on the second substrate(140) made of a transparent material such as glass. The second black matrix is separated from the first black matrix with a constant distance and formed on the second substrate(140). An overcoat layer(146) for smoothing the upper surface of the second substrate(140) is formed on the second substrate(140). The overcoat layer(146) is stacked only on the first black matrix(142a). A seal pattern(148) for adhering the first substrate(130) and the second substrate(140) is printed at an upper portion of the second black matrix(142b). The seal pattern(140) is positioned between the second black matrix(142b) and a protective layer(124). Thereafter, the first and second substrates(130,140) are adhered by the applied pressure.
