PURPOSE: A water saving device for a shower device is provided to automatically supply or stop water by installing a water saving device in a connection unit for connecting a shower head and a hose and lifting or declining a shower set at a predetermined angle, thereby making it simple to be used. CONSTITUTION: The water saving device for a shower device comprises a shower device connection member(100) with a fixed ring groove(102), a connection groove and a projection portion(106); a body(110) with an outlet hole(112), a supporting projection portion(114) and a first packing groove(116) provided with a first airtight keeping packing(120); a fixing unit(130) with a moving space, a number of dropping portions(132), a moving groove(133) and a supporting end(134) provided with a hook portion(135) to form a second packing groove(136); a switching unit; a second airtight keeping packing(146); a connection unit(150); a hose connection unit(160); an operation unit(170) and a fixing ring.
