METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MOUNTING STRETCHABLE SLEEVE TO ARTICLE TO EASILY OPEN LENGTH OF EXTERIOR MATERIAL

PURPOSE: A method and a device for mounting a stretchable sleeve to an article is provided to effectively install the sleeve to the article with a large section and to simplify sleeve-packing equipment. CONSTITUTION: A device for mounting a stretchable sleeve to articles(15,16) is composed of a reel mount(1) for receiving a reel(2) wound around with an exterior material(5); a driving mechanism having a driving wheel(3) and an extrusion wheel(4) and receiving the flat exterior material with a folding unit between the driving and extrusion wheels; upstream and downstream length compensators(6,7) of the driving mechanisms to tightly hold the exterior material; an alignment device(8) having a rotary frame injected with the exterior material passing the second compensator to align the exterior material on a production line(10); a sensor for detecting a transverse position(9) of the exterior material to control the alignment device; a driving roll(12), a compression wheel(13), and a cutter(14) for cutting the sleeve at the flat exterior material with the folding unit one by one; and a device for moving and mounting the sleeve to the articles.
