OPTOMETRIC APPARATUS INCLUDING LENS CHAMBER UNITS, NEAR DISTANCE ROD, OPTOTYPE UNIT AND HOLDING UNIT

PURPOSE: An optometric apparatus is provided to achieve improved accuracy of test by permitting a near distance sight chart to be movable in sideways. CONSTITUTION: An optometric apparatus comprises a pair of lens chamber units(5) each of which has a test window(5a); a near distance sight rod(2) extended forward from the test windows; a first optotype unit(3) having a near distance sight chart, wherein the first optotype unit is arranged on the near distance sight rod; and a holding unit for holding the first optotype unit in such a manner that the first optotype unit is movable nearly in parallel to the transverse direction interconnecting respective centers of both test windows.
