摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable simple control of spring force of the spring part of a day jumper so as to match the day-feed resistance value, without changing the component shape of the day jumper. SOLUTION: The day jumper 12 is provided with a readjusting part 12a of a rigid body and a spring part 12b which is curved into a U-shape. The readjusting part 12a of the rigid body is pivotally fixed to a plate 13 by a rotating shaft 12c. One end of the spring part 12b is fixed into a unified body with a triangle engaging end and the opposite side end of the readjusting part 12a. The other end of the spring part 12b is made to abut against an eccentric pin 12d for position readjusting, disposed upright on the plate 13. The amount of deflection of the spring part 12b of the day jumper 12 is a minimum at the rotational position of the pin 12d, as shown in Figure (A) and is a maximum at a rotational position of the pin 12d, as shown in Figure (B). As a result, the spring force of the spring part can be simply controlled to a value matched with the day-feed resistance value, by rotating the eccentric pin 12d for positional readjustment.
